Safety, Dignity & Disability Rights

Everyone Deserves Safety and Respect

The CMT Warrior Foundation believes that every individual deserves to live with dignity, independence, respect, and freedom from abuse, neglect, exploitation, discrimination, bullying, and harassment.

People with disabilities often face challenges that extend beyond physical accessibility barriers. Social isolation, discrimination, financial exploitation, emotional abuse, caregiver abuse, bullying, and harassment can significantly impact quality of life and independence.

Our mission is to promote awareness, education, advocacy, and community support that help create safer and more inclusive environments for individuals with disabilities.

Issues We Address

Ableism

Ableism occurs when individuals are treated unfairly, excluded, underestimated, or discriminated against because of a disability.

Bullying

Individuals with disabilities often experience bullying at higher rates in schools, workplaces, online communities, and social environments.

Harassment

Harassment can take many forms, including verbal abuse, intimidation, cyberbullying, workplace harassment, and disability-based discrimination.

Family & Caregiver Abuse

Individuals with disabilities may be vulnerable to emotional abuse, financial exploitation, neglect, coercive control, or mistreatment within caregiving relationships.

Social Isolation

Many individuals with disabilities experience exclusion and isolation that can impact mental health, confidence, and community participation.
